Field Day 2010 will be at a new location this year, at Bruce Park on Hamilton Mountain.

We have been at Rock Chapel for 15 years, however this year we had to get a new location due to changes at the RGB. Some of the parks they own, Rock Chapel being one of them, will be turned into bird sanctuaries, and others will have trails closed.

Bruce Park is located between Brucedale and Queensdale on Hamilton Mountain, off Upper Wellington. (Click for map)

We would like members of the club to come and help set up antennas, stations, and to help op the stations.

We will try to run 4A again this year.

Field Day is a great "Emergency Preparedness" exercise, where Hams can put their abilities to the test on site. They will be using antennas, battery packs, generators etc, to get on the air and make contacts local and worldwide. If you have ever worked Field Day, you can understand the rush of excitement one gets.
