At home with his family, on September 23, 1996, in his 77th year. He will be dearly missed by his wife Margaret. Loving father of Susan and her husband Bob of Brantford, Janie and Linda. Loving grandpa to his cherished granddaughter, Laura. Brother to Alex and Ann of Kitchener, brother-in-law of Bill and Kay McConnachie of Burlington. A memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of the M.A. CLARK FUNERAL HOME, 567 Upper Wellington Street, Mount Hamilton followed by burial of ashes at Tapleytown Cemetery.

Peacefully on Monday, November 03, 2003 at Extendicare, Hamilton, Glenn Gibson, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Vera (nee Griffey). Pre-deceased by his first wife Wini. Dear father of Valerie (John), Molly Robertson (Jack) and Mark (Marilyn). Grandfather of Brian, Sean, Shelly, Melissa and Megan. Dear brother of Birdie. Will be sadly missed by his extended family, John (Janice), Paul, Joy and grandson David. Glenn served in the R.C.A.F. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 163. He was an employee of Westinghouse Canada. Glenn was also a devoted member of West Highland Baptist Church and a member of the Hamilton Amateur Radio Club (VE3FHQ). He served as a volunteer at Macassa Lodge for many years.

Suddenly at his home on Sunday, June 15, 2008, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Ruth for 51 years. Loving father of Ruthanne Bernacki (Adam), Brent (Anita) and Scott (Darlene). Proud Granddad of Andrew Bernacki, Tom, Kathryn and Jake Granby, Saffrin and Mallika Granby, Dear brother of Frank, Bob (June) and the late Fred. Bernie was an active member and past president of the Hamilton Amateur Radio Club, a life member of the Knits of Columbus Council 6579 and member of the Burlington Sailing and Boating Club. He retired from Ford Oakville after 30 years of service. Family will receive friends at SWACKHAMER, BLACHFORD & WRAY FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday and Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Wednesday at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Canadian Martyr’s Roman Catholic Church. Cremation to follow. IN lieu of flowers, donations to The Canadian Martyr’s Church Building Fund or The Good Shepherd Centre would be greatly appreciated.
