– Peacefully at St. Olga’s Lifecare Centre in Hamilton, on Saturday, June 11, 2005 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Nora (nee Huggins) of Burlington. Loving father of Lynda, Kelly and her husband Ken of Port Elgin, Janice McCaslin of Burlington and R. Allan McCaslin of Little Rock, Arkansas. Cherished grandfather of William (Tracy) and John (Karen), Kelly and great-grandfather of Robert, Peter, Hannah, Shawn and Rachelle. Dear brother of Marjorie (George) Forsyth and Gladys (and the late Charles Lichtenberger). Predeceased by his sister Dorothy and her husband Harold Ryder. Bill was a Veteran of WWII, serving overseas for three years in Rear & Advanced Wireless section of the 2nd Canadian Corps Signals. He was a member of the Hamilton and Burlington Amateur Radio Clubs and was actively involved at Philpott Memorial Church, Hamilton, and was passionate about missions. Bill worked in electrical maintenance at Mercury Mills and retired as an electrical inspector with Ontario Hydro. A member of I.A.E.I.
