Biographical Info


Peacefully at home on Sunday, October 25, 1998, in his 87th year, Chris went to join his loving wife, Laura. Chris was a loving and respected father to Christina, Ken and his wife Mary, and grandfather to Jennifer Davino, Lisa and Troy Clarke. He will be sadly missed by his best friend and canine companion, Casey. Brother to Gino (Vancouver), Nora Mascarin and her husband Pete, and Mary Carpani (of Tillsonburg). Predeceased by Guy Davino and Gina Petrucci. He will be fondly remembered by his special caregiver, Leanne. Chris was a Lance Corporal with the First Division of the Royal Canadian Regiment during the Second World War. He was the proud recipient of the Military Medal. For 30 years he managed the Federal Building Cafeteria for the C.N.I.B. He was President of the Sir Aurthur Pearson of the Blind, Past President, President, Vice President and active member of the War Amps from whom he received the Meritorious Medal. He was a Ham Radio Operator for 25 years. Special thanks to all those who continuously cared for Chris and his family. Memorial Service to be held on Tuesday at 7 p.m. At the M.A. CLARK & SONDS FUNERAL HOME, 567 Upper Wellington Street, Mount Hamilton. Donations in Chris’ honour may be made to the Hamilton Branch of the C.N.I.B., or the War Amps Champs Fund.
