At the Hamilton General Hospital on Saturday, November 18, 2000, beloved husband of Jean (nee Savage), in his 74th year. Dear father of Lynn (Bruce Weber) of Mississauga and Reverend Glenn Stone of Sackville, N.B. Loving grandfather of Robert and Michael and sadly missed by his sisters Mabel (Vic Cooke) of Simcoe, Lillian Sonnenberg of St. Catharines, his brother Franck (Eunice) of St. Catharines and his sister-in-law Bessie Stone. Predeceased by his brothers Vic, Stan and Len, his brother-in-law Gerald Sonnenberg. Harvey was a member of Valley Lodge #100 A.F. & A.M., The Macassa Bay Yacht Club, was amateur radio operator VE3IL for 57 years, was a member of the Golden Horseshoe Fishing Club and an active member of Christ Anglican Church. Harvey served overseas in WWII with the Merchant Navy. Friends will be received by the family Monday evening from 7-9 and Tuesday afternoon and evening from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. Funeral Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at CHRIST CHURCH ANGLICAN, Bullock’s Corners. Interment Christ Church Cemetery. Donations to Missions to Seaman, Port of Hamilton, 600 Ferguson Street, Hamilton L8L 4Z9 would be appreciated by the family. Masonic Service Tuesday evening 8:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
